OEBF is an annual international open-air festival and forum which brings together poets, writers, artists, directors, artists, and creative people from all professions in Central Asia and around the world. OEBF is held within frameworks of the festival since 2012. Contest is organized in partnership with “Hertfordshire Press” publishing house, built on the principle of openness and interplay of all arts on the basis of literature.

The goals of the Open Eurasia Literature Festival & Book Forum contest:

• attract the attention of readers and experts to the achievements of Eurasian writers,
• unite writers with representatives of publishing houses, their readers, libraries, educational institutions, the media, and
• promote the development of multicultural dialogue between modern writers, poets, critics, editors, and publishers.

Since 2012, this competition has been expanding every year by gaining popularity, which shows the success of the competition. The first competition was held in 2012 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), gathering 140 participants, whereas, in 2015, 800 participants from 28 countries of the world took part in international contest.
